The popular DreamWear Nasal Mask for nose breathers now has the upgraded new headgear with arms which is a vast improvement to the original. This mask was the first from any manufacturer having the hose attached at the top of the head keeping the hose well out of the way, and using the mask with the Hose Lift is a perfect combination, as the hose lift take the weight of the hose and allows freedom to move from side to side without dragging on the top of the mask.
There is the option of purchasing the DreamWear with the original 'under-the-nose' cushion, the new silicone pillows and for a little while longer, the now discontinued original gel pillows. Additionally, the mask can be converted into a full face version for people who occasionally struggle to nose breathe with just the additional purchase of the full face headgear and mask cushion.
Reviews of this mask are mainly 4 and 5 Stars, which is excellent for any mask!

This DreamWear Nasal Mask is the original unique design for nose breathers, and Philips were the first company to launch a mask with the hose at the top of the head, and this was also the first mask introducing the innovative way the air is pushed directly into the mask via the tubular mask frame. Due to its success Philips then brought out the DreamWear Full Face Mask for mouth breathers which is just as popular.
The mask is welcomed by people who like to wear as minimal a mask as possible on the face. In fact Philips Respironics have described it 'like wearing nothing at all' and comments from some of the users are endorsing this statement - certainly in comparison to other masks they've used!
The upgraded headgear with arms is proving to be a positive improvement to the original headgear. This mask really does feel so light and almost as if nothing is on the face!
The way the nasal cushion seals in the 'under-the-nose version is a real bonus, but for patients who prefer pillows inside the nose, there is also the option for those instead.
Nasal bridge sores will not be a problem with this mask!
The fact that all sizes of under-the-nose cushion or nasal pillows are included in the fitpack means that selecting the wrong size won't be an issue!
Amazed at the way that when lying on the side the air is simply directed through the tubular frame on the opposite side. We have also carried out testing with a CPAP Manometer, proving there is no pressure reduction when sleeping on our side.
Due to the hose connecting directly onto the mask frame at the top of the head, the hose is unobtrusive, and especially if used with the Hose Lift which angles the hose tube from above the head too and is helpful for stopping the hose dragging on the mask, thus causing leaks. (For people who don't wish to have their hose above them, it may be helpful to purchase a Hose Strap and Clip to attach the hose to their nightwear which also helps prevent the hose dragging on the mask).
Easy to clean and re-assemble.
A huge benefit for some people is that as well as swapping between the 'under-the-nose' cushion and pillows, the mask can be converted to the full face version for people who occasionally need to mouth breathe (such as when they have a cold or nasal stuffiness). The DreamWear Mask Mouth Cushion can easily be attached to the silicone tubular mask frame. However, the headgear is not the same on both masks, so a separate DreamWear Full Face Headgear will be needed for using it with the mouth cushion, but this will still make it cheaper than purchasing a separate mask.
If a person lays on their side and closes off one side of the tubing, will the mask still provide therapy? Will it create a pressure spike?
The mask will continue to provide the prescribed therapy. Every other mask on the market operates with one tube running to the cushion and this mask operates in the same way. No increase of pressure or noise will occur.
With the tubing right next to the ear, will DreamWear Mask be noisier than other masks?
From a sound level perspective, the DreamWear Mask is quiet. However, since the airflow is located closer to the ears with this design and not routing downward in front of the patient, some people may notice the airflow noise more than a traditional mask. For most patients the experience is quiet and comfortable with the unique design offering more freedom of movement. However, since this is such a different design, it may take some people some time to get use to the difference in the noise. It’s not louder - simply different. (We at Hope2Sleep noticed the 1st night of use the mask did sound louder, but after a few nights the noise seemed to disappear!).
There are 3 sizes of frames. How do I choose the right size?
Always start with the medium frame. If the mask is too small, the frame will sit too close to the eyes. If the mask is too big, it will sit too close to the ears. Please refer to the quick start guide or instructions manual for pictures and a thorough description. In most cases, it will be obvious if a different size frame is needed. However, if there are leaks at night or the mask seems to move too much, a different size frame and/or cushion should be tried.
"Like Wearing Nothing At All...
...and designed to provide many of the benefits of nasal and pillows masks, DreamWear allows patients to have the best of both mask types. Its remarkable design directs airflow through the frame so patients can sleep comfortably. The minimal contact, under-the-nose cushion prevents red marks, discomfort or irritation in the nostrils or on the nose bridge.
Freedom Of Movement
DreamWear users experienced more freedom of movement throughout the night than with their current prescribed mask. Unrestricted by cumbersome tubing, patients can sleep in any position they desire – on their stomach, side, or back.
Exceptional Fit And Comfort
Users stated that DreamWear was more comfortable, appealing and had a better fit than their prescribed mask. DreamWear’s soft, flexible silicone frame and fabric wraps provide a soft touch on the patient’s cheek."

Really comfy and I’ve transitioned from a full face mask to this. Excellent service as well from the H2S team of course!

Response:
Great to hear you've managed to convert to nasal breathing Talis, and thanks for your kind comment 😊
I've been using this mask for years and it was great to find a supplier at realistic prices.
After struggling with various full face masks I decided to look into nasal masks + mouth tape. After a bit of research, I found a reviewer that went through all kinds of nasal masks. They were adamant that it was case-by-case, but their favourite, by far, was the Dreamwear silicone nasal pillows by Philips. I was convinced they would be right for me. Thankfully I was correct. This mask has saved my life. I’m piecing my body and mind back together again after over two years of being a zombie. Thanks is owed to Hope2sleep for being a pioneer for these masks (they’re very popular in the US, but lesser known in the UK) and for their excellent advice and customer service as well as their same day dispatch and next day delivery - this ensured I got the first good night’s sleep of the rest of my life ASAP. Thanks Hope2sleep.
What a lovely review stating this mask has 'saved your life' and we understand what you mean when you finally find the 'right' mask and start sleeping well again 😊Just be careful about mouth taping as it can sometimes be dangerous with sleep apnoea. After initially being given a full face cushion mask by ResMed, as I thought I breathed through my mouth, I decided to try a nasal cushion as I fell claustrophobic with the face mask on. It was a game changer for me. Firstly it is so much more freeing. I have used it for two weeks now and I have zero air leaks. I can sleep on My side and move around a lot and it stays in place. I can even talk to my son in the other room while wearing it which is important. Most importantly for me, as I have a collapsed septum and my nostrils aren’t very symmetrical (!) The hole for the nostrils is a big oblong shape hole. This means air travels much more easily up my nose than the full face ResMed cushion I had which has two separate holes that I felt never quite sat in alignment with my nostrils. I now have my mask on for 8 hours a night. And sleep well, but even when I do have Insomnia (quite often), I can lie there comfortably with it on.

So pleased to hear you've managed to convert to nose breathing and can now use a nasal mask. For the insomnia it is worth trying Sleepio or Sleepful.
This is the best mask I have had so far, it is feels much less intrusive having the hose at the top of the head and I have had some good nights sleep. It is better for back sleepers as I notice it comes a bit loose when sleeping in my side so I have to just tighten it up a bit more. I did notice some whistling so used the humidifier in my cpap machine which seems to have stopped that. When I was diagnosed a few months ago I started off with a full face mask, then went to a nasal mask as I am a moth breather but this mask is the best so far, I much prefer the head hose fitting. The soft material that comes with the pack is a brilliant addition. The mask stays out during the night and although the main frame is not adjustable the straps at the back are. I would recommend as the mask comes with different pillow sizes to fit as well.
Pleased to hear the mask is working well for you. As for side sleeping though, lots of people do side sleep in the mask, but if your pillow is a firm one (even memory foam) this can cause problems with all masks when side sleeping, so it would be worth trying a softer pillow.
Incredibly comfortable, and even for a light sleeper who’s severely claustrophobic, I barely even notice that I’m wearing it!Highly recommended.
If you want the most minialist of masks and can nose breathe during sleep then this is the one for you! I do tape using vented sleepseal tape when using this as I can be prone to mouthbreathing even when my nose is clear (please do check if tape is suitable for you as it isn't for everyone). The hose on the head is an amazing design and means with a hose lift, you can turn in bed with no hose getting in the way! It's super comfortable and I can interchange using the same headframe when I prefer to use my Dreamwear full face mask. Super easy to clean, super soft, and doesn't irritate my nose at all which surprised me as my skin is fussy. I get a perfect seal every night and it is super comfortable to wear. So much so I sometimes panic when I'm nodding off that I've forgot to put my mask on!! I also want to add that H2S have been wonderful to my husband and I. We went to the shop and Kath and Natalie made sure what we got was suitable and spent time fitting our masks for us. I appreciate you all so very much for the help in the shop and with everything else!
'Rolls Royce' made us smile 😊 Good to hear that you're able to use the nasal version a lot of the time too!
My favourite CPAP mask (and I’ve tried most)! Natalie was absolutely fabulous - she posted the mask out the same day - what a great person & service.
Thanks for your kind comments about Natalie, and we agree she's a real asset to the charity 😊
I have been using a face mask for 2 yrs since diagnosis. Of the three full face I’ve tried the Amara View was my favourite despite the upward exhaust air flow. I have now had an ENT op to reduce enormous inferior turbinates and the surgeon suggested after recovery I try a nasal mask. I felt I now can sleep with my mouth closed so bought the Dream Wear silicone pillows mask. Well it’s wonderful- the best mask for me, so unobtrusive, comfortable and minimal but doesn’t slide around, no strap marks. I can also wear night cream once again (it made the full face leak) I like the above head hose attachment. It does feel ‘fragile’ at the pillow junction so I tend to leave headset intact and wash through from the top each day. My AHI was already under 5 postop but now down to under 3. I started at 68! Very pleased and feel this will make a good long term benefit to my health.
So pleased for you to hear you're now able to nose breathe, and that you've found the DreamWear Nasal to be a good mask for you 😊
I have been searching high and low for a mask that works for me. So many masks leak air into my eyes, create sores around my nose and create pressure on my cheeks. This mask fits perfectly for me. It fits perfectly around the nose and doesn't leak. It doesn't create any pressure sores lying on the pillow. It's great that the hose goes in at the top of the head (and not on the tip of the nose) which is a lot more comfortable and easier for turning over in the night. I would highly recommend this mask for its comfort and fit.
We're always so pleased to hear when patients have finally found the 'right' mask for them 😊

Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
