We have added these Snoreeze Oral Strips to our charity shop, and whilst they are primarily designed to target snoring, during our trials we discovered that they were helping with Dry Mouth for people on CPAP and non-invasive ventilators.
These Oral Strips by PFL Healthcare under the Snoreeze brand are designed to target the main cause of snoring, and the way they work is that they lubricate the soft tissue at the back of the throat, which is how we discovered they may help with a dry mouth too - one of the common problems amongst CPAP and non-invasive ventilator users, and sometimes even when using a humidifier attached to their machines.
Due to the fact these Oral Strips are applied to the roof of the mouth and dissolve, they are suitable to be used with CPAP or non-invasive ventilators and could be a good alternative to our popular Xylimelts for people who struggle with those, to help prevent dry mouth. They would certainly be worth a try! Some people may even choose to use them at the same time as Xylimelts for severe cases of dry mouth.
For snorers, the Oral Strips are designed to target the the main cause of snoring - toning the soft tissue at the back of the throat and claim to provide snoring relief for up to 8 hours. If you are purchasing these for snoring, please do read our webpage on 'What Is Sleep Apnoea' just in case your snoring is a sign of undiagnosed sleep apnoea, which is a serious medical condition if untreated.
Occasionally, even for patients with sleep apnoea, some snoring may return at times of throat or other viruses, so these Oral Strips may well prove helpful at these times.

Please Note
There is no guaranteed ‘cure’ for snoring (if this is why you are purchasing them). However, Snoreeze Oral Strips can relieve the symptoms of snoring to help provide a peaceful night’s sleep for you and your partner. Snoreeze Oral Strips are not a cure for sleep apnoea (a related respiratory medical condition).
You may be suffering from sleep apnoea if you stop breathing during sleep, wake up tired or fall asleep easily during the day.
If you experience any of these symptoms, we recommend that you consult your doctor.
The Snoreeze Oral Strips come in a pack of either 14 strips or 28.
Unfortunately, we are not able to supply these oral strips with zero rated VAT relief for people with chronic medical conditions, due to the fact that they are classified as a snoring product, even though they may help people with sleep apnoea. Therefore, VAT will be added at checkout.
I tried these on 2 occasions. First I had had a drink so my mouth is always extra dry the night after drinking. These did nothing for me. Tried a second try last night, no alcohol , but again did nothing through the night for me. These may well work for others but mostly certainly did not for me.

Response:
That's a shame to hear as you'll see by the reviews they can be so helpful for others. Sadly not everything will work for everyone though.
Easy to use and comfortable but they only last a couple of hours
Started well and I got off to sleep but I was awake within a couple of hours with a dry mouth
That's a shame to hear although the main purpose of these is to stop the snoring with the added benefit of helping with a dry mouth in a lot of cases. If it's just dry mouth you were hoping to cure do try to find something that works as it's important to avoid dry mouth due to risks of gum disease and tooth decay.
As a CPAP user, I suffer from a dry mouth, even with a humidifier. These strips did help & I found them more comfortable than the discs. They stick well to the roof of my mouth, so little danger of choking on them. However, they don't last as long as the discs. One other negative factor for me though, is that they contain aspartame, which is suspected of causing neurological problems & converts to Methanol in the body.
I usually use XyliMelts for my night time dry mouth, whilst using my CPAP. I thought I would try the Snoreeze strips to compare the products. Unfortunately, for me the Snoreeze strips were not as effective as the XyliMelts. The seem to dissappear quickly & did not help with the dry mouth at all! So I'm sorry .... I tried them but they did not work for me.
Thanks for your review, and agree the Xylimelts are definitely the best product for night time for those able to use them, but for those that can't we hope the strips will help. They're handy too at times of sore throats for extra help so hang onto them 😊
I’ve been very surprised at what a positive difference these oral strips have made to my sleep. One night I forgot them and didn’t sleep nearly so well. They reduce apnoeas and consequent waking very well.
That's great to hear the strips are working well for you 😊
I like the fact that the snore strips stick to your mouth & don’t disappear too quickly. Not sure how well they work on the snoring though as I live alone.
They did give a moist mouth but the strip only seemed to last about 3 hours . The strip felt very strange in the mouth and didn't seem to make any difference to snoring. I did primarily buy them to try for dry mouth . They did work but not for long enough.
That's a shame to hear as most other reviews are 4-5 stars, but there is one other low one, which just goes to show that we all have to try different products to find out what works best for us all. Thanks for your honest review though.
After keeping my wife awake and therefore me being woken up regularly due to my snoring, a friend recommended these. Much improved sleep for us both now. Easy to use and despite my initial reservations you don’t notice these once they are in your mouth. Would definitely recommend.
Ha, good to hear your wife is happy too, as well as you being pleased with them 😊
This helps me to stop snoring.

Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
