The SleepStyle series of CPAP by Fisher & Paykel are quality, yet simple to operate machines which come with build-in Humidifiers for ultimate comfort. They are available as either a fixed pressure CPAP machine or the Auto Pressure (APAP) version.
Please also note that the two different machines we supply are both the models that allow full remote-monitoring, including allowing the clinicians in charge of the remote-monitoring to be able to remotely adjust any changes to the settings needed, as not all models allow this.
For patients who have been diagnosed and treated for sleep apnoea a long time, they may remember the older Fisher & Paykel's SleepStyle range of CPAP machines. Even back then, Fisher & Paykel, used to have built-in humidifiers in those older machines, and fast forward to today... following the popular Icon machines, they have now brought back the name 'SleepStyle' to their newest machines - still with a built-in humidifier and a heated tube!
Whilst not the cheapest CPAP machines on the market, the Fisher & Paykel machines are still renowned for being the CPAP manufactuer leaders in heated humidification. Breathing comfort is also paramount in Fisher & Paykel's machines, and as well as having Expiratory Relief, similar to other manufacturers' CPAP machines (to relieve the pressure on exhalation), they also have their unique SensAwake™ technology so that when the machines sense you are awake, the pressure is automatically reduced to help you go back to sleep comfortably.
As well as including a InfoUSB stick to upload therapy data directly to a clinic, Fisher & Paykel also have a detailed app available for both Android and Apple mobiles so that you can see how your therapy is going. Get started here https://sleepstyle.fphcare.com/
The two models of either auto CPAP (APAP) or fixed pressure CPAP are the absolute top of the range models, and as well as providing the app for the patient to monitor their own CPAP therapy, they have the internal modem providing full remote tele-monitoring with the addition of the ability for the clinicians to be able to remotely alter any settings required so that a visit to the clinic is not required or sending them the InfoUSB stick, as not all models from other suppliers provide these machines.
The SleepStyle CPAP machine really is simple and very easy to set up, and it was even awarded an 'Ease of Use Commendation' by the American Arthritis Foundation. The beginning of anything can be difficult and it can take some time to adjust to it. CPAP therapy is no different and Fisher & Paykel have worked hard to understand the daily interactions patients will have have with their new SleepStyle machine, and have made these as easy as possible, to get set up and started simply!
A push of the button gives access to the water chamber, which is easy to fill and clean.
The power supply and humidifier have been integrated fully, to minimize space taken up on the bedside table.
*Note that the only difference between the CPAP and AutoCPAP (APAP) is the fact that the CPAP only provides therapy with pre-set fixed CPAP pressures, whereas the Auto (APAP) version runs at automatic pressures which vary. The fixed CPAP version requires prescribed pressures by a sleep clinic or consultant and the APAP version will treat with automatic pressures as 'sensed' by the machine when breathing events may happen.

IMPORTANT NOTES:-
This SleepStyle is not certified for using on an aircraft, but can be taken onboard and should be classed as a medical device and not included as extra hand luggage, but to be safe always check with the airline you are flying with and placing one of our CPAP & Ventilator Luggage Tags can certainly help at check-in. The SleepStyle can be powered with the Atom Battery for times of power cuts, camping or off-grid by using the 3-pin UK plug attached to the CPAP machine, but using the humidifier will cut down on battery power.
CPAP is a prescription item and we CANNOT sell one without signed approval from your sleep clinic, CPAP prescription or proof of diagnosis, such as a copy of your sleep study results.
If you require a form to give to your clinic prior to or after ordering, please click on the following link to download the form:-
Click here to download CPAP Approval Form
Please fill in your name and address on the downloaded form which can then be taken to, sent to or emailed to your clinic, as without approval we cannot release any CPAP machines. If your clinic have instructed any specific settings, these will be set up before the machine is despatched to you.
Please email the completed form back to us or proof of your diagnosis as soon as possible after placing an order to sales@hope2sleep.co.uk so that we can arrange delivery to you.
HUMIDIFIER HELP
Any unused water in the humidifier should be discarded every morning, as it is a perfect breeding ground for germs and bacteria and mould can form. The humidifier should also be rinsed out daily and at least once a week given a deeper wash.
Distilled Water is better to use as there will be no build up of minerals and limescale in the humidifier chamber which will need more thorough cleaning, but it is difficult to find in the UK and expensive. However, if the water is safe to drink then it is safe to use in the humidifier. (It just means that using tap or mineral water will require more rigorous cleaning of the humidifier chamber).
NEVER use Deionised Water in the humidifier as it is unsafe for respiratory equipment.
NEVER place anything except water inside the humidifier, such as menthol crystals or aromatherapy oil etc, which will damage the humidifier and the machine, and is not medically safe.
This item appears to work very well, I haven't checked on any feed back as yet but I'm pleased with it.

Response:
Glad you're pleased with your machine and hope it's treating you well.
My husband has sleep apnoea we purchased this machine based on research we had undertaken. I love it, it meets the needs of my husband and has the fantastic advantage of being very quiet. I am a light sleeper, before the Sleep style my quality of sleep was dreadful. I can’t rate this machine highly enough as the partner of a sleep apnoea sufferer. Well worth the money for both of us. My husband is waking up feeling rested, his quality of life is greatly improved thanks to Sleep Style. The team at Hope 2 Sleep were brilliant in their advice and guidance.

What an interesting review from the partner of the CPAP patient thanks 😊
So happy machine is great worth spending the extra, easy and simple to use and clean does everything you need, very happy.
We're so pleased for you too Joanne to see how well the CPAP is treating your severe sleep apnoea 😊
My old machine gave up and the new one was recommended. I used it for the first time last night and can see the difference in my sleep pattern straight away.
So pleased to hear you're getting on well with your new CPAP and that you're feeling the benefit already of good therapy 😊
I purchased the F&P Sleepstyle APAP machine as after being diagnosed with moderate sleep apnoea I just wanted something that would make it easy and as stress free as possible to transition over to a whole new way of life when it comes to bed time. I loved the idea of it being automatic and also the ramp feature as I have always been claustrophobic and the thought of being blasted with a gale through a mask was not a great thought. I also love the heated hose that is included. I have had no nasal issues at all. I am so so glad I went for the Sleepstyle as from day one it has been so easy to work but some of that was down to Hope2sleep setting it all up for me so credit where its due It is so quiet my husband doesn't even notice it. Also cleaning is easy once you get into a routine . There is a good App that lets you via Bluetooth see your AHI and mask report daily, weekly and monthly so you can keep track of progress. The videos that F&P do to are very simple and easy to follow too and get you use to the machine. I have absolutely no regrets as after the initial shock of price of any of these things, I know for me it is absolutely the right decision and already after one week seeing results of good sleep. I would absolutely go for the same machine again.
Thanks for such a detailed review to help others. Glad you like the machine and even more important to hear how much difference your CPAP therapy is treating your symptoms already ❤️
As a first time APAP user and new to the world of sleep Apnoea I purchased this machine with a little hesitancy as only a mild sufferer of 13.7. Well, 2 nights in and my sleep score is down to 0.6. Along with the Evora full face mask I can sleep for 6 hours a night and wake feeling totally revived, refreshed and ready to go...A total phenomenon after chasing my GP for years for the source of my tiredness. I totally recommend Hope2Sleep, Kath and Natalie who set the machine up, talked to me out of hours and got it all to me in 24 hours on a Saturday, you are stars. Where else could you get that care, attention and service. Thanks so much. xoxo

Mild sleep apnoea can still give the same symptoms as more severe Fiona, and the fact that you're feeling so much better in yourself ('totally revived') is a sure sign this needed treating. It was our pleasure to help you.
This is my first APAP/CPAP - so nothing to compare to. But I genuinely cannot find any fault. It's been well designed with obvious input from actual users, allowing for features that make practical sense. Like the humidifier placement and one-way fit. Its super simple to use, has a decent (if a little basic) app and most surprising for me, its much quieter than I ever expected. Again I am new to this so maybe I had the wrong assumption. But you can barely hear it working away. Lastly its very compact. I have a small bedside table but this barely takes up any room. Not sure what more you could ask for in a device like this. Also to add the advice, ordering and delivery from Kath and the team here at hope2sleep is amazingly good. Being a charity you also know they are doing this for the right reasons and not just for profit.Highly recommend this unit and buying from this site.
Very pleased that you're getting on so well with your CPAP therapy in these early days and also that you're pleased with the SleepStyle machine. Thanks also for your kind words and support to our charity Paul 😊
I bought this machine to replace my Philips DreamStation. The SleepStyle machine from Fisher & Paykel is, in my opinion, far superior to the DreamStation. It is designed and constructed to a very high standard and very easy to set up and use . I am finding that the built in humidifier works better for me than the Philips machine and it is also much quieter . The online software gives a very useful report and is easy to set up on my iPhone. As a result of making the change to this machine I am coping better with my sleep apnea. To the team at Hope2Sleep I would like to say you are doing an amazing job in helping us all. Many thanks.

So pleased you're happy with your new SleepStyle machine Douglas, and regarding the humidifier, Fisher & Paykel really are the best for humidification.
I was diagnosed with mild (close to moderate) OSA and I felt like a bit of a hypochondriac buying this because I wasn't in the "moderate" category which is where the NHS usually recommends treatment. But overnight this machine changed my life. My resting heart rate average dropped by 10bpm. My REM sleep went from 30 mins a night to 2 hours a night. I wake up before my alarm for the first time in my life and have energy throughout the day. It took some getting used to but it was so worth it. The machine itself is a pleasure to use, easy to clean and gives you some basic stats each morning on how your night went. The humidifier is great too. The service from hope2sleep was excellent at every step of the way.
This is so lovely to read Steven, in how much better you feel, and so soon too after being on CPAP 😊 It also goes to prove how even mild sleep apnoea needs treating.
Having being diagnosed with severe OSA through private consultant, and there being supply issues in NHS, I was advised to source a machine privately. I had visions of it being a loud and cumbersome piece of equipment. Pleasantly surprised when this arrived in small kit bag. It’s super compact and whisper quiet. Also Intuitive and simple to use. Arrived swiftly from Hope2Sleep.
Glad you're pleased with the SleepStyle CPAP machine and hope you very soon feel the benefits of your new therapy 😊

Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
