The Hybrid mask is a twist on the traditional full face mask, with a design incorporating an oral interface and nasal pillows. It is ideal for people who are mouth breathers but prefer not to wear a mask which covers the bridge of their nose and/or forehead.
There are many several options available with the Hybrid in order to reduce leaks and allow for a comfortable nights sleep as there are three sizes of cushions and pillows all included to enable the user to achieve the optimum fit without having to buy additional parts. The unique nasal pillows can be adjusted in height and if necessary different sized pillows can be used for each nostril.
Having used this mask for a few weeks now. Feelings are mixed. On the plus side:- Once you get the fit to your liking, it will hold a tight seal throughout the night. The inclusion of all three seal/cushion sizes by default was really helpful- The height-adjustable nasal pillows can be really useful for ensuring a good fit without any leakage, and each pillow can be set at different heights if you so need- It's fairly quiet, though I use mine at a pretty low pressure (6 CMH2O), so you mileage may vary- fairly easy to clean, with the seal coming off the mask rather than the mask-seal unit detaching from the harness. Makes it easier to get into the nooks and crannies of it- Chin support, at least for me, is welcome to minimise mouth breathing at night.Overall, it's been an effective alternative to eliminate nasal bridge sores and itching from full face masksNow for the one BIG downside:- The material isn't the soft silicone of more modern masks. It's a thicker, more rubbery material, especially around the chin rest and nasal pillows. While that's normally not a concern, on warmer nights or for people prone to sweating, it turns the mask into a hot sauna, and the nasal pillows become slippy and prone to popping out. I've had to revert to the Simplus mask that came with my CPAP at the moment because nights are getting warmer and this one feels like I'm wearing spandex on my face. There are other minor niggles, namely that the pipe is too long and swivels awkwardly and sometimes the asphyxiation valve needs a bit of a tap to engage, but the above is the big one. Overall not a bad mask, definitely an option for people who need something really customisable for their face, but clearly an older design in some areas.

Thanks for the very thorough review Charles that we're sure will help others. We've not heard about people feeling hot at night in it and not something we've experienced, but we learn something new everyday as we all have different experiences 😊
I have tried to use this mask on a number of occasions since buying it but cannot get the nasal pillows to seal properly. I have tried all combinations of sizes but there is always a leak out of the side of at least one pillow. I can make it seal by holding a finger gently against it but it will not seal without this help, no matter how much I adjust the headgear. It is quite frustrating as I feel as though it is almost there and just needs the pillows to be slightly longer, or maybe angled inwards a bit more to maintain the seal. It's probably a very good mask for someone whose face fits, but unfortunately it's not for me.

Really disappointed for you too Nigel as sadly not all masks work the same for everyone 😕Thanks for the review though and for your honest feedback - along with your constant support for our charity.
I had tried about 10 different masks and was becoming very frustrated - and tired - when I came across this mask. It suits me perfectly. My AHI readings are now almost zero most nights. Ordinary full face masks left me with eyes so swollen I looked as though I had been assaulted. The Innomed Hybrid stopped all of that. The best thing about this mask is the added chin support as my jaw tends to drop open at night. The similar ResMed mask does not have this and that is where the Innomed Hybrid is so good. My only negative point would be is that I don't like, the headgear very much. The plastic Velcro closures overlap one another and they feel a bit 'cheap' but that is minor when I consider the overall benefits of this mask.
So pleased to hear this Sara. I too love the chin support on the Hybrid. Kath
I was really looking forward to try this mask, as normal full face masks give me painful sores on the bridge of my nose. unfortunately this mask didn't work well for me as i have my cpap on quite a high pressure and this causes the nasal pillows that attach to your nose to flop out and air is able to escape. i`ve tried all the different nasal pillows supplied but even the small ones cant hold the air pressure in your nose area. i would also like to mention that the plastic that the body of the mask is made from is very thin brittle plastic and looks like it might break at any minuet ! not really worth £120 oh well back to the drawing board !! i cant fault this website though, the mask was sent very quickly and well packaged.
So sorry to hear this Will. It sounds like the mask just doesn't suit you as I also have very high pressures (25) and it works well. One last try would be to see if you need different sized cushions in each nostril. Kath
Great mask I used a almera view but had a problem with the end of my nose getting very cold and pain full but with this one blowing up the nose there's no problem the only thing I will say is that the swivel is to long and sometimes makes it leaks but I got round the problem but I'll say it again it's a great mask
I debated on whether to buy yet another mask and especially as its similar to the amaraview I use. Hard to say which I prefer now as the piece that goes under my chin was better as it stopped my jaw from being pushed back which all the other masks I have tried do. Early days but am liking this mask.
Shipping
We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible. Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day. An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list. Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.
All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK. Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.
Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment. On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called 'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!
Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.
If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.
Important for International Orders
We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate. Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.
International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.
Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:- "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."
Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed. A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
