Sunset Healthcare Solutions

The CPAP Cream is now back in production, in response to popular demand after the original manufacturer, Lousal, closed.  This amazing cream not only has magic healing properties, but is a safe cream to use for breathing and with no damage to CPAP and ventilation equipment.

*30/04/21....GREAT NEWS yes*  The CPAP Cream is back (now in different packaging) with another manufacturer with the same magic ingredients that have helped so many people over the years.

NOTE:  The Cann-Ease Nasal Moisturiser will also stay - will be keeping both products as they compliment each other, and there will always be people who prefer one or the other /cann-ease-cpap-oxygen-nasal-moisturiser-for-nose-lips-and-skin.html

This CPAP Moisture Therapy Cream has been designed specifically for the CPAP/APAP/BIPAP/Ventilator and Oxygen Mask Users as it contains NO Petroleum Based Ingredients, which should NEVER be used with the masks.  It is also free from alcohol which damages the mask cushions!

The cream helps prevent and heal skin problems such as chafing, irritation, dryness, soreness or cracking from using a nasal or full face mask, and can be used WITH the mask and applied to the areas where the mask meets the face.  Many people who previously used night cream now use this instead to keep their skin moisturised!

For nasal pillows the cream can be applied to the outside and inside of the nostrils before inserting the pillows.  The cream can be used as often as needed to form a resilient moisture protective barrier, and many users are reporting their masks seal better after applying the cream to the area where the seal meets the face, which is possibly due to the cream's thick consistency.

For any mask sores it is also advisable to apply the cream several times a day until the skin has healed, and then continue use at night with the mask to prevent a flare-up.  Incidentally, the cream has other uses for skin issues and many people keep a tube in the medicine cabinet for general use!

Below is a genuine image a parent sent us after just a day or so of using the cream, and she has kindly given us permission to share this to help others:-

SEEMS TO WORK
12 November 2024  |

My facial skin around the mask ws suffering and I thought trying a specifically marketed CPAP facial cream would be sensible. Although somewhat expensive for a small tube, it seems to be helping, in which case, worth the money.

Critical Review
19 August 2024  |

To be clear, my poor rating relates only on the ability of the cream to treat a rash which has developed on my cheeks. The product may well be effective with other conditions

Response:

That's a shame the cream didn't work its magic on your cheeck rash, but I'm sure you'll find it helps for other skin sores in the future.

Disappointing
22 July 2024  |

Very small size for the price - and when using the cream for some reason it was very runny and found too much came out - very difficult to control the amount.

Response:

We have no control over the price and the manufacturer only makes the one size, but sorry to hear you're initially disappointed, as if you read the other genuine reviews most are 5 stars and some clinics call it the 'magic' cream so it's worth you persevering.

Brilliant cream.
26 June 2024  |

i have been buying this cream for a little while now and I am very pleased with it. I smear a tiny ammount around my mouth and under my nose where my mask goes. It seems to create a seal which means I do not have to have my mask so tight. So no more sore nose! Excellent product.

Surprisingly effective!
16 May 2024  |

I didn’t really expect this cream to be of any help to me as I have extremely sensitive skin and have had allergic reactions to aloe vera in the past. However, this easily absorbed cream prevents my skin from the scrapes and grazes that had appeared in the first few days of using a full face mask. A little goes a long way. I will definitely keep this on my ‘essentials’ list.

Great to hear, and why some of the clinics call it the Magic CPAP Cream 😊

ORDERS

Shipping

We try our best to ship all orders received by us Monday-Friday on the same working day if received before 12 noon, and more often than not orders processed before 3pm will be despatched the same day whenever possible.  Weekend or UK bank holiday orders are sent out the next working day.  An automated email is sent when products have been despatched so please check your spam box and add us to your safe senders list.  Also, if you do not receive an email confirmation, please check that you have typed the correct email address in your account.

All orders are sent via 1st class mail within the UK.  Masks and some other more expensive products are always sent via 'signed for' insured delivery and cannot be left in 'safe' places, but there is the option for an alternative shipping address when processing the orders.

Delivery charges are worked out automatically by weight and you can clearly see the delivery charges before making a payment.  On the rare occasion delivery charges are miscalculated by the website, a refund will be sent, as it is not our policy to make money on postage charges and neither do we add the cost of delivery into the price and offer so-called  'free delivery' like some sites and Ebay pressurise sellers to do!

Wherever possible with larger parcels, we try to re-use boxes to keep shipping costs down and protect the environment.

If a product is out of stock and the order contains multiple items, the 'in stock' items will be sent immediately and further items will follow upon arrival with no further postage charges incurred.

Important for International Orders

We can ship most products internationally, but all prices are in UK British Pounds and if paying by debit or credit card the bank will automatically convert to the current conversation rate.  Likewise, if you choose the Paypal option, they will convert into your currency for you as payment is made.

International orders are sent via tracked Airmail, and whilst we're happy to ship internationally, we cannot be held responsible for any delays at Customs at your end, or charges that may be added in your own country, such as customs fees and import tax on delivery, which are determined by your country’s import laws and are beyond our control. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these charges, and certain courier companies will not be able to deliver the goods to you without pre-payment of any charges. From our experience, it appears to be randomised as to which parcels incur extra charges, but please know that all accompanying paperwork is filled in correctly when shipping and there is nothing more we can do, as much as we'd like to.

If you purchase from us out of the UK or you move to another country after purchasing products, please be aware that the warranty for CPAP machines, masks and parts from the manufacturers are under warranty  with the manufacturer based in the UK, so you will be responsible for sending the product back to us and will need to pay postage to get the product back to you after exchange or repair, as the manufacturer will not pay for shipping in any country outside of the UK.

RETURNS

Masks, CPAP machines and and most other products are exempt from a refund or exchange unless faulty due to health and hygiene issues - as stated in our 'Terms and Conditions', and in particular due to the risk of cross contamination as they cannot be re-sold. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 28.(3)(a) confirms exemption as follows:-  "exemption in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery."

Unopened (sealed) products in their original packing can be returned within 14 days for a refund of the product cost, but the purchaser is to pay the return postage, and we would advise retaining proof of postage. This excludes any faulty goods, for which postage will be reimbursed.  A full refund for the price of the product will be issued when received by us, less the original postage charges when the order was sent to you.
